Adult CPR/AED/First Aid (Blended Learning- Online Learning/In person Skills lesson) - American Red Cross Blended learning classes give you the time to complete the majority of class online at your own convenience (online takes 2 to 3 hrs), once online is completed you will be scheduled to attend an in person skills session to practice on a manikin and demonstrate the skills learned with your instructor (only takes about 1 hr). Basic Life Support for Healthcare Workers (BLS)- The BLS instructor lead course by the American Red Cross provides healthcare providers and public safety professionals the knowledge and skills necessary to respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies in adults, children and infant patients. Course length is about 5 hours which includes a written test. Once completed you will receive a 2 year certification………………$95

Babysitters Training Course- Babysitters training provides youth who are planning to babysit with the knowledge and skills necessary to safely and responsibly give care for children and infants. This training will help participants to develop leadership skills, learn how to develop a babysitting business, keep themselves and others safe, and learn about basic child care and basic first aid. The recommended age for this course is 11- 15 years old. The course length is approximately 6 hours…….........$100

Bloodborne Pathogen (add on course can be added to any course) or taken on it's own-

Designed for those who are at risk for on the job exposure to blood and other bodily fluids in the workplace. The course teaches staff how bloodborne pathogens are spread, how to avoid exposure and what to do if exposed to infectious material. This course is one of the requirements of the OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens Standard. After taking this course, students should talk with their employer about their workplaces specific policies and procedures. Those who complete the training receive a Bloodborne Pathogens Training certification valid for one year. The 2021 Bloodborne Pathogens online course is designed for those who are at risk for on the job exposure to blood and other bodily fluids in the workplace. The course teaches staff how bloodborne pathogens are spread, how to avoid exposure and what to do if exposed to infectious material. Allow approximately 60 minutes to complete the course..................$35

First Aid/ CPR/ AED Instructor- Blended Learning Course

 This course will train instructor candidates to teach basic-level American Red Cross First Aid CPR and AED courses. In order to participate in this course you must possess a current basic-level American Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED (or higher level) certification or equivalent and be at least 16 years of age on the last day of the instructor course. Upon registration it is important that you review and follow the directions on the e-mail attachment sent with your registration confirmation. This is a blended learning course consisting of online content a skills session and classroom segments. Online material must be completed prior to attending the classroom activities. Hill Country CPR & Safety Training is excited to announce we will be offering Aquatics training coming this summer 2023. These course will include Parent and Child Aquatics Levels 1 and 2, Preschool Aquatics Levels 1 - 3, Learn-to-Swim Levels 1 - 6, three adult courses as well as the Basic Water Rescue and Personal Water Safety courses and more!
